UNDERSTAND THE LOSS
What is diminished value?
Imagine two comparable vehicles: the same year, model, trim, mileage, and condition. One has no reported accident history. The other received significant collision repairs. A buyer may value them differently.
Diminished value is the remaining loss in market value attributable to the accident after repairs. The amount depends on the vehicle, damage, repairs, and market evidence. Your repair invoice alone does not establish that loss.
BUILD YOUR EVIDENCE
An independent, documented appraisal.
South Florida Independent Auto Appraisers examines the available records, researches comparable vehicles, and explains the evidence supporting its conclusions. Your report presents:
- Estimated market value immediately before the accident.
- Estimated market value after repairs, accounting for the accident history.
- The comparables, adjustments, and reasoning supporting the difference.
We identify missing information and distinguish verified facts from assumptions. An appraiser reviews the evidence and makes the final valuation decision.
